Publication
Sociological Science began publishing in February, 2014, with an initial batch of four articles. Articles have since appeared individually. A total of 15 articles have been published to date. Behind the scenes this involved a number of changes.
- The sociologicalscience.com website was fundamentally redesigned in order to host accepted articles and serve as a forum for discussion and debate
- Post-acceptance publication routines have been established with the development of a style guide for copy-editing, typesetting processes, etc.
- All articles are included in CrossRef with unique DOI numbers.
- Initiatives to build publicity around papers in the journal have had success, with media attention to several published articles soon after publication.
