Please follow the guidelines below in preparing your manuscript for production.
Add the following below the title of your paper:
- Up to six key words
- Each author’s Name, Department, University, and E-mail.
- Any acknowledgments
- Instructions for accessing reproducibility package (unless exempted)
Separate your paper into separate files as follows:
- Text
- Any supplemental material should be submitted in a separate file, as detailed below.
- The desired approximate placement of tables and figures should be referenced in the text (e.g.) – Figure 1 about here –, preferably between paragraphs.
- Any tables or figures should be placed at the end of the document.
- Bibliography
- References in the file should be formatted according to ASR format
- Tables
- Closely follow the instructions in the “Guidelines for Table Preparation”
- Tables may be submitted as Word files, Excel files, or LaTeX files. Do not submit tables as PDF files.
- Supplemental Materials (appendixes) if applicable
- One file with any supplementary materials (appendixes)
- Be sure to edit paper text to refer to supplemental materials when appropriate since they will be published as separate documents.
- Please refer to any supplemental materials in the main text as an “online supplement”
- Supplemental materials will not be copy-edited or typeset in LaTeX; we will make PDFs of the materials you submit, so please make sure you are comfortable with your supplement as is.
- Figures
- Figures must be submitted in EPS, PNG or PDF image file formats.
- We encourage the use of colors in figures.
- Each line should be a different sequence( e.g. Line 1 – solid, Line 2 – dotted) This method insures readers will be able to distinguish each line when printed in black and white.
- Do not include figure captions in the submitted image file; these will be added in typesetting.
- Please avoid including borders around the margins of the figure.
After preparing all of your files, please combine them into a single zip-file for upload.
To upload the final files, please use the link provided in the email you received after submitting the publication agreement.
